Description

Supplier Invoices & Payment Verification

Liaise daily with suppliers to review, clarify, and resolve invoice queries.

Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.

Ensure invoices, approvals, and payment amounts match before processing payments.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, payment requests, and bank payments.

Maintain accurate records of supplier balances and payment statuses.


Treasury Accounting

Record treasury‑related journal entries, including loans, interest, and bank charges.

Reconcile cash, bank, and treasury‑related balance sheet accounts.

Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.


Debt & Financing

Track loans, overdrafts, credit facilities, and guarantees.

Monitor loan covenants and repayment schedules.

Assist with new financing arrangements and refinancing activities.


Foreign Exchange

Record foreign currency transactions and FX revaluations.

Monitor foreign exchange exposure related to supplier payments.

Support FX hedging activities and reporting.


Controls, Compliance & Reporting

Maintain strong internal controls over cash, supplier payments, and treasury activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and banking requirements.

Support internal and external audits by providing treasury and supplier payment documentation.

Prepare regular cash, payment, and treasury reports for management.



Minimum requirements

Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICA, ACT) is an advantage.

5 years minimum prove of experience in accounting, treasury, or finance roles.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
